Mayahuel Studios

My name is Anja Mayahuel Solís Garcia. I am turning 9 years old at the end of June. I took my first art class when I was 3 in my moms hometown of Brownsville, Texas. Swimming is something else I enjoy, playing with my little brother, legos, and anything that has science in it. I have learned to use different media and forms like linocut, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels and recently I tried tie-dye. One of my favorites is acrylic because I can use gesso or other media with it and it looks great. I love the artwork I do because it is from my imagination and it became real. I love going to my teacher’s studio and creating and I get to draw whatever is on my mind when I am at home.
